About ThumpThump
Camp ThumpThump is a creative collective focused on rhythm as the pulse of the universe. Formed by like-minded individuals in 2014, our goal is to facilitate and create percussion-based art projects/installations while sparking inclusive joy along the way.
Since 2014, Camp ThumpThump has engaged burners from every corner of the Playa through drumming workshops, facilitation, events, instrument builds, interactive art pieces and even interactive rhythm carts. We have gifted over 130 drums and instruments to burners from all walks of life on the playa.
Our mission is to engage burners in musical drumming experiences across the playa regardless of age, experience, ability or identity.
